Vector Motors, Wilmington, California, USA.  The WX-3 first appeared at the Geneva Motor Show in 1993.  Both a Coupe and a Roadster version were produced, but only one of each type was made. The Coupe had a twin turbo charged aluminium block 6 litre V8 engine. Vector Motors was formed by Gerald Wiegert.  The W in the WX stands for his name whilst the X signifies a prototype.   A big thing was made with Vector that the cars are "Made in the USA" but this didn't make the company a success.

Faster on the straight and corners than the standard F Type it is the first vehicle to benefit from the attention of Jaguar/Land Rover's Special Vehicle Operations. Made its debut at the 2014 Goodwood Festival of Speed.   Rather desirable!

Bentley, Cricklewood, England.  This 1925 Bentley has the famous 3 litre 4 cylinder engine that started to make Bentley a success.  This is a short chassis speed model with a Taylor Sports model. The owner told me that this was the original registration number and that it had been a Pebble Beach Concours class winner. It certainly has immaculate bodywork, obviously restored but very nice and good to see it being driven around.  This has the red Bentley badge that identifies it as a Red label Speed Model 513 car.

1928 LaSalle 303 Roadster

1928 LaSalle 303 Roadster, Richard Stanley, Petersen Auto Museum Breakfast Club Cruise-In, 24 January 2016
More photos of the Breakfast Club Cruise-In coming soon.

LaSalle were manufactured by the Cadillac Motor Company, Detroit, USA.  It was the brand they used for slightly cheaper cars than the Cadillacs.  However, it was still a luxury brand costing around $3,000 in 1928.   A car like this was used as the pace car at the 1927 Indy 500. Although over 1,000 roadsters were made their survivors number only about 5.  Richard Stanley purchased this in 1999 and restored it to the current condition.  It has won a number of awards.
