Austin Healey, designed by the Donald Healey Motor Company and made by BMC at the MG factory in Abingdon , England. The Mk1 had the frogeye headlamp configuration and a 948cc A series engine. It was a convertible and could go just over 80mph. It was produced from 1958 to 1961. Early rallying success came when John Sprinzel and Willy Cave won their class on the 1958 Alpine Rally.
